Day 1: Saturday, Oct 18
Arrival & Gothic WondersMorning: We land at BCN (UA120) at 9:00 AM! After clearing customs and checking in, we'll grab a quick lunch near the hotel.
Afternoon: Our adventure begins! We'll stroll down the famous La Rambla, soak in the sensory overload of Mercat de la Boqueria, and get lost in the labyrinthine streets of the Gothic Quarter.
Evening: Time for a classic tapas crawl! We'll hop between authentic bars around the lively Plaça Reial for dinner and drinks.
Day 2: Sunday, Oct 19
Art, History & Flamenco FireMorning: We'll explore the trendy El Born neighborhood, starting with the early works of a master at the Picasso Museum, followed by a visit to the stunning Santa Maria del Mar basilica.
Afternoon: Lunch near the colorful Santa Caterina Market. Afterwards, we'll have some free time to explore the boutique shops in El Born.
Evening: A night of passion and music! We'll see an authentic Flamenco show at Palau Dalmases, followed by world-class cocktails at the speakeasy, Paradiso.
Day 3: Monday, Oct 20
Gaudí's Grand DesignsMorning: A relaxed start with a stroll through the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella to see the grand fountain and the Arc de Triomf.
Afternoon: Our main event: a 12:00 PM visit to Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Família. Afterwards, we'll walk down Passeig de Gràcia to admire his other creations, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
Evening: We'll explore the charming, village-like neighborhood of Gràcia and find a cozy restaurant for an authentic Catalan dinner away from the crowds.
Day 4: Tuesday, Oct 21
Mountain Views & PintxosMorning: We're heading for the hills! We'll take the cable car up Montjuïc for panoramic city views, visit the historic Montjuïc Castle, and see the 1992 Olympic Stadium.
Afternoon: Exploring the art on the hill at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC).
Evening: A fun and delicious night in the Poble Sec neighborhood! We'll do a "pintxos crawl" down Carrer de Blai, sampling Basque-style tapas, and hopefully catch a show at the Magic Fountain.
Day 5: Wednesday, Oct 22
Whimsical Parks & PaellaMorning: More Gaudí magic today with a visit to the whimsical, mosaic-covered Park Güell, where we'll see the famous salamander and panoramic city views from the terrace. (Book tickets for the Monumental Zone in advance!)
Evening: Time to become chefs! We have a hands-on Paella Cooking Class where we'll learn to make authentic paella and sangria, and then enjoy the feast we've prepared for dinner.
Day 6: Thursday, Oct 23
Seaside StrollsMorning: A relaxed day focused on the Mediterranean. We'll explore the old harbor, Port Vell, and walk across the Rambla de Mar.
Afternoon: We'll wander through the old fishermen's quarter of La Barceloneta and walk along the beach.
Late Lunch: The main event is a classic seafood paella lunch at a restaurant with a view of the sea in Barceloneta.
Day 7: Friday, Oct 24
Mountain MonasteryFull Day: Our grand finale! We're taking a day trip to the dramatic, saw-toothed mountain range of Montserrat. We'll ride a cable car up, visit the monastery to see the revered Black Madonna, and listen to the famous boys' choir.
Evening: Back in Barcelona, we'll have a special farewell dinner to celebrate our amazing trip.
Day 8: Saturday, Oct 25
¡Adiós Barcelona!Morning: Time for one last Catalan breakfast at a local cafe and some last-minute souvenir shopping.
Departure: We head to Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) for our 12:00 PM flight home (UA121), filled with amazing memories!
